Two More Weeks!

Well Phil and I have been super busy picking out furniture, packing and picking out colours! We visited our new house today and Phil said when my dad got into the car to leave our house he says to Phil, "I have a good feeling about this house". ha ha ha how cute. I love my dad. Sometimes he says the most funniest things without even trying to be funny. Like last Sunday we were having dinner and after we cleaned up he did something stupid and mom gave him the evil eyes and he says to her because she must have said something about, "what do you say?" and he goes, "love is having never to say you are sorry" and we were "where the hell did you hear that" and he was "church" and we were "when did you go to church?" he goes, "if you must know it was in Jackie's reading at the wedding, and I must have been the only one to pay attention" This coming from a man who can't remember what he had for breakfast this morning. He's a nut. I will stick up for him no matter what! Always have. When mom is mad at me, she's mad at my dad and vise versa. That's just the way it's always been. Apparently we are a package deal. ha ha ha. I do remind her of my dad a lot of the time!
Anyways, that was a side not cause I've been dying to tell that story.
So today we went to Stoney Creek Furniture with my parents. We found this amazing bedroom set that we both love (rare that we both love it, yes). So dad had a great idea. One weekend soon we are going to Meninite country and see how much they can make us our bedroom set for. According to dad, they can copy it which would be great, but only if it's cheaper. Phil is very very into this decorating thing. We pick out everything together. Tomorrow my mom and I and aunt are going to Hamilton to pick out fabric for a wing chair. Phil has to work but he trusts us and our judgement. ha ha ha. He is my metro husband.
Well better get back to my favourite thing, packing!

  1. What are the colours you have picked out? For what rooms? What's a wing chair?

    This is all very exciting.
