Honeymoon!

Well for our honeymoon we had to go to Barbados (only thing left after Swine Flu forced Air Canada Vacations to cancel our trip) It was AMAZING!!! Everything was great, no complaints. We tried food we've never tried before, like different kinds of fish. We sure got our share of fish (which is a good thing cause it's super healthy for you). Anyways, basically all we did was eat, sleep and sleep in the sun all day long!!
On our second day there we had an orientation with Air Canada Vacations telling us the extras we could do on the island. The rep asked Phil and I if we could stay back for a couple mins. We were "uh sure". Then she ended up giving us 200 US dollars each on a VISA to spend any way we wanted. So later that week we went to the capital of Barbados, called Bridgetown and went shopping crazy. Do you know how hard it is to spend 400 US dollars that isn't yours? VERY! ha ha ha. So pretty much our honeymoon was one of the most relaxing weeks of our lives.
Stay tuned, I have lots to write about and we've only been married three weeks! ha ha ha.

A very Special Moment

There is one thing from our Wedding that needs to be mentioned separatly. When I walked in to view the room before the guests arrived, I looked around the room and turned around to get a view of everything and there staring at us to the side of us was the most amazing cake I had ever seen in my life. And the cake topper was Ariel and Eric (my princess obsesstion) in their wedding attire!!!!! The children in my class made me the cake with their love! I can not believe it! It brought tears to Phil and I's eyes. It was the most special and amazing gift on our lives! I will post a picture when I get one.

Married Life begins

I finally have time to sit down and rehash the wedding day! And all i can say was "I had the time of my Life". Literally and I'm not just saying that because that was the theme of the evening, which I might add a lot of people came up to me and commented on how awesome that idea was. toot toot my horn. ha ha ha.
So the ceremony wasn't what I expected or liked. Our original priest backed out three months before our day and got his friend to replace him who is a deacon. I personally don't think the Deacon knew what he was doing. Anyways, I was completely calm cool and collected. Dad and I talked all the way down the aisle. Then even Phil and I were shootin' the shit at the alter. ha ha ha. Thanks Jack for doing that amazing reading. You rocked it! Then after the mass (which was very short) Phil and I headed outside to greet our guests. Our guests included 25 little kids from my class (and a few from the other class). They all ran up to me and hugged the daylights out of me. I have a pic from the photographer (well he has it but i saw it) of the girls around me and I'm like Cinderella and they are my mice. So cute. Everyone commented on the love they have for me and the love I have for them. It was a great idea for them to come!!! so after a couple pictures of the family and group, we headed to spencer smith park for more pictures. They turned our beautiful. My photographer displayed them at the reception on his laptop, great touch Aaron! I must give a huge shout out to my photographer and his wife. They ROCKED! I totally will be giving family and friends his name and number when they get married. I recommened him highly.
So from there we went to the reception. I didn't know we started the recieving line at 5 (the cocktail hour) and the guests go in the room to have the cocktails. So during the recieving line, I look over and there are two guests who were invited who didn't RSVP at all. But guess what, it was no problem at all with the Burlington Convention Centre. They didn't panic, they accomodated. Again, I will highly recommend the BCC to anyone getting married in Burlington. They did everything. All I had to do was show up friday and give them my stuff and they took it from there. That is why I was so relaxed the day before and the day of. I knew I was in very good hands.
So the recieving line ended and the announcing began. PHil and I did our first dance, which I belted out singing to "She's Like the Wind". Then we listened to all my favourite top 40 boyband songs throughout dinner. woo hoo!!! I sang and ate the whole dinner. If I could have danced trust me i would have. After dinner my dad and I danced to "Changes" by Kelly and Ozzy Osbourne, again I sang through the whole song. Again a lot of people came up to me and said "great song". Thank you!! For those who know me (Jack) knows I have to be different and unique in the things I do, I have always had different hair cuts, or different everything to stay out of the norm. So for me to choose a song like that and one no one really knows, is soooo me. And I love love love Jack's blog about our wedding. Thanks hunny, I love you!
So then I danced, drank, danced and drank. I danced to every single song and only left the dance floor to take a shot of Vodka. I really really really had a great time! I want to do it again. Not because I would change a damn thing, but so i can keep dancing to the great music!! Again, I will be recommending my DJ to everyone in this world. He rocked!!!! It's a shame (phil brought to my attention), that you talk and meet these people for a whole year, you get to know them and then the day comes, then you never talk to them again. I will truely miss our vendors! The Burlington Convention Centre did an amazing job!! i will miss the coordinators extremely!
Well I have to write about the honeymoon tomorrow or another day because we are heading out to find my mom a birthday gift! Again, to all those who came and were involved, thank you so much for coming and being a part of our special day. It is truely one I am going to remember for the rest of my life and I love hearing about the day from other people's point of view!!! and the things I missed because I was on the dance floor!! Love you guys!

HOLY CRAP!

Well the time has come. I have only One freaking week left. What do I have left to do you ask?
I have to print off my table seating chart, print off my table names (that's right I'm not having table numbers) and then if I have time I will do ceremony programs. But only if time permits.
So today Cindy and I went to the psychic fair. We sat down with a lady and she read us our cards. I told her to tell me about my relationship and kids.
She pretty much hit the nail on the head about Phil's personality and mine. It was kinda freaky. She said all we do is fight lately and I was "of course, it's natural at this time and stage in our lives" and she was all confused and then I told her it's all wedding stuff. She knew I was getting married because of my ring. Also she drew a card that said our wedding was going to be a blast and it will be magical and people will be talking about it years to come! A success! Here is the really weird thing. Cindy and I have these pendulums we got as a gift from a student. It's used to ask questions and tell you how many and the sex of your kids. So when cindy and I did it on me it said I was going to have a girl and then a boy and right away it swung into a girl which means twins. But the second girl's swing was small which means she's not a strong pregnancy.
So the psychic went on to tell me when i was going to have kids. First she pulled a card that told her i was having a girl first. She said she is going to be brilliant and very cute and people will be doing everything for her. She is going to be a girl who is "can you do this for me"? and can you do that for me? My daughter is also going to be sensitive and a hermit. Then my next pregnancy is going to be twins (keep in mind she has no idea that cindy and i have done this pendulum test on me). A boy and a girl. My boy is very special to me and I feel the need to protect him. He also is very smart and sensitive. My twin girl is sick or has some health issue because in the womb she was the weaker of the two. Apparently we will be making international trips to hospitals for her. hmmm. this is if she makes it out of my womb. We aren't too sure if she lives. My son will also have a learning disability yet is very smart. These are just the highlights of my reading. I belive in some kind of higher power. It's good to believe in things. Now this is the second psychic that told me I'll have a baby next spring. However this one told me I won't be happy about it. That's where I am confused. This pyschic told me my first child (if not next spring) will be in 2012. To me that's a long time away. Maybe she is mistaken and she thinks Phil won't be too happy. I have no idea. But either way, I'll just wait and see what happens. If I don't get a chance to post any more before May 9th. Look out for my blog about our Honeymoon! Barbados here we come (long story how we ended up there, just don't mention Mexico around me next time we talk, I booked Mexico TWICE, first time with Conquest, they went out of business two days later, then second time booking with Mexico, this damn swine flu occured). Barbados was the only place that wasn't booked up!
